India is on track to become a $26 trillion economy by 2047-48, according to a report by Ernst & Young (EY) that highlights the country’s long-term growth prospects and rising global economic influence. This projection reflects sustained expansion of services, manufacturing, infrastructure and technology sectors, supported by demographic advantages, policy reforms and investment inflows that are expected to propel India into the ranks of the world’s largest economies over the next two decades.
